The kids at our park LOVE Alice Chen! The Centipede Dragon has proven to be a child's personal gateway into imagination and creativity, and the use and enjoyment of it is, as yet, inexhaustible. She has greatly benefited our summer program, and we look forward to her return!

"We were very fortunate to have Alice Chen come to Beatley Central Library with her Centipede Dragon Program in June. Our group of 60 children and parents was enthralled with her entire presentation! She began by reading Centipede Dragon from a special copy that had pages that folded out horizontally. With a helper, Alice spread out the pages as she read and kids were quite fascinated in this new book design as well as the wonderful story and beautiful and innovative illustrations. Once the reading was complete, Alice asked the audience to challenge her with suggestions of pictures to create out of paper dragon scales. Kids had tons of fun coming up with suggestions and watching as Alice masterfully arranged her scales into each design. At the end, a few children even rushed up to help her out! We had lots of positive feedback from kids and parents and we'd love to have Alice back again!"
